The Precept Water Optimization and Sustainability Analysis is designed to evaluate all systems and processes that utilize water. The intent of the analysis is to provide possible improvements to the operational and mechanical aspects of each system that could provide the following:
- Reduced water consumption
- Reduced sewer discharge
- Reduced energy consumption
- Reduction of operational supplies
The benefits from conducting this Water Optimization and Sustainability Analysis include:
- Incorporation of LEED® recommended strategies in water, energy & waste-stream reduction
- Reduction in overall short and long-term mechanical and operational costs
- Carbon Footprint reduction associated with less energy for heating and cooling
- Recognition and overall increase in positive perception within community
- Potential for rebates associated with process improvements
This Optimization and Sustainability process was designed to help identify areas for improvement that may have a significant Return of Investment (ROI). Although each system may have the potential for small fractional improvements, the overall sum of these enhancements can lead to significant annual savings.
Precept Environmental will conduct detailed site surveys throughout the facility to identify these potential areas of improvement. The results of the site survey will provide the following:
- Identification of processes throughout your facility where savings can be realized
- Define and manage projects that show a significant Return on Investment
- To focus on projects that are sustainable beyond the ROI period
All of the results and findings of the site survey will be consolidated in a clear and concise report and will include the design and proper management of the process improvements.
