Our Process of Biofilm Removal and Disinfection
Large water storage tanks provide a favorable environment for bacteria to flourish. The combination of low circulation, ideal temperatures, and lack of consistent disinfection methods provide environmental conditions that favor biofilm formation. These biofilms can host a variety of problems, operationally as well as environmentally.
Our disinfection processes can increase the health and safety of the water systems by neutralizing and removing biofilms. They also help reduce the potential for corrosive bacteria that can lead to microbial-induced corrosion on system metallurgies, thereby helping to extend equipment life.
The Precept Safety Policy
To guarantee the safety of our employees, our service teams have a minimum OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour General Industry Outreach Training covered in OSHA Act Part 1910. Precept also implements a comprehensive Confined Space Entry Program that exceeds the OSHA 1910.146 standard for permit required confined space entry. Our safety standards ensure that our specialists, your employees, and the surrounding populations are protected against the hazards associated with these systems.
